Voyetra-8

The Voyetra-8 is an eight-voice, rack-mountable, analog synthesizer introduced in 1982 by Octave-Plateau Electronics. It features 8 programmable analog voice cards, a sophisticated modulation matrix with four banks per voice, and supports Whole-8, Split, and Layer modes. Its memory stores 100 Programs and 100 Steps, and it dumps presets via MIDI using controller changes rather than SysEx. Each voice includes two VCOs, a 24 dB/octave lowpass VCF, two LFOs, two ADSRs, noise, and VCO sync. Key assignment modes and extended envelope parameters allow deep real-time control over voice behavior and articulation.
