How it works, in terms a player would use
It runs two independent effects blocks. Each block holds one algorithm. You route audio to either block—or both—using dual routing configurations. Looping uses 20 seconds per block. When looping on one, the other stays free for reverb, delay or texture. You update firmware via Compact Flash card or serial cable—but only after installing V3.51 if coming from earlier than that.
What it does better than anything else
It delivers true stereo reverb I/O—no mono-in/stereo-out compromise. It gives 20-second mono loops and 10-second dual loops while keeping the second block fully available for parallel processing. It is the only effects processor in its class with 24-bit/96kHz conversion at launch.
What it does badly
It does not support modern update methods. Interrupting a bootloader update corrupts the ROM permanently. It offers no USB, Ethernet or wireless connectivity. There is no built-in preset management beyond the hardware interface. It cannot run algorithms simultaneously across blocks in a single chain without manual routing.
