It integrates sampling, synthesis, effects, and multitrack audio recording in one unit better than any 1995 competitor. Its touchscreen was the first of its kind on a musical instrument — enabling visual patch browsing and direct waveform manipulation.

The touchscreen is slow and imprecise for live parameter tweaking. Editing is menu-heavy and interrupts flow. It offers no aftertouch or velocity-layered sampling. Its 32-note polyphony falls short in dense arrangements.

People made full productions — from demo tracks to broadcast-ready scores — using only the Trinity. Its internal sound library, resonant filters, and audio recording let users build complete pieces without external gear.
Who should use it, and who should not
A collector or historian working with period-accurate 1990s production should use it. A modern producer building a hybrid rig should not — its interface and signal path are too slow and inflexible for current workflows.
Is it worth your time
It is worth your time if you need a self-contained 1995 workstation with touchscreen editing, resonant filters, and sampling synthesis — but not if you require modern workflow speed, deep sound design flexibility, or reliable real-time control.
