Small Stone Records

Electro-Harmonix · 1995

The Small Stone is a 4-stage analog phaser pedal introduced by Electro-Harmonix in 1974. Designed by David Cockerell, it became central to Jean-Michel Jarre’s sound and was later reissued in a Nano chassis. Its simplicity — one knob, two modes — gives immediate, expressive motion but no depth control, no buffered bypass, and no digital features.
